Stephen grew up in Kimberley, BC, and moved to Vancouver to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biology (1996) and his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (2001). In 2005, he achieved the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). Further postgraduate training has also certified him to practise medical acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation (IMS). He is a senior instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy and mentors physiotherapists in preparation for their intermediate and advanced orthopaedic exams. The assessment and treatment of knee injuries remains his special passion. Stephen was chosen as a Therapist for Athlete Care at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and he has been the designated physiotherapist for various sports teams, including SFU Rugby, Burnaby Lakers Lacrosse and World Mixed Ultimate Frisbee. Andy Chu
Andy completed his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. His treatment philosophy consists of utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques, IMS/dry needling, patient education, and individualized exercises to tailor it to each client’s needs. His approach is to empower clients to take an active role in their recovery process and help them achieve the results they want. As a life-long learner, with a passion and commitment to using evidence-based research in his practice, he successfully achieved the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT) in 2023.
Andy is extremely honoured to impact the Burnaby community he grew up in. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and has a working knowledge in Mandarin. Jonathan Chu
Jonathan completed his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2013. Jonathan has completed extensive postgraduate training since then, including becoming a Certified Gunn IMS practitioner (CGIMS), becoming a ConnectTherapy™ (Dr. LJ Lee) Series graduate, and partaking in coursework in Advanced Orthopaedics. His treatment interventions involve a varying combination of hands-on manual therapy techniques, patient education, therapeutic exercises, and/or intra-muscular stimulation (IMS)/ dry needling in order to meet individual specific needs. He is dedicated to help others to achieve their therapy goals, whether they be for work, for leisure, or for day-to-day tasks.

Gurmeet Dhillon
Gurmeet grew up in Edmonton and graduated with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Her passion for sport and exercise medicine brought her to Vancouver to complete a Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at UBC where she had the opportunity to work closely with sport medicine physicians. Gurmeet has worked with UBC Rugby, BC Rugby and Rugby Canada.
Gurmeet is currently pursuing her FCAMPT designation through the accelerated GCOMPT/MRSc program at UBC. She is also in the process of completing her Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate. With a strong interest in research, her treatment style is informed by the latest evidence and is rooted in therapeutic exercise utilizing manual therapy and dry needling/IMS as an adjunct.

Gevorg Eginyan
Gevorg earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology, Master of Science, and Master of Physiotherapy degrees from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Alongside his physiotherapy training, he spent several years conducting neuroscience research focused on how the brain and spinal cord adapt after injury.
Passionate about research and continuing education, Gevorg’s treatment approach is informed by the latest evidence. He focuses on education and tailored therapeutic exercise as the foundation of care, with manual therapy used as an adjunct to help clients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.
He enjoys helping clients recover from orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as post-surgical recovery. He has extensive experience treating concussions and is currently pursuing advanced vestibular training to better support clients with dizziness and balance concerns.
Gevorg also loves working with runners and has completed specialized courses in assessing and treating running-related injuries and enjoys helping runners of all levels recover, improve performance, and prevent future injuries. He has experience working with athletic populations, including UBC Varsity Soccer and the Richmond Men’s Rugby Club, as well as athletes across a variety of sports.

Olivia Gebrewold

Olivia chose to pursue a career in Registered Massage Therapy after suffering a motor vehicle accident in 2020. She saw an RMT for her injuries and experienced firsthand the power of massage therapy for treating her aching body. Olivia’s experience inspired her to help others find the same relief and healing that she has through massage. Graduating from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in 2023, Olivia’s passion for connecting with and helping others guides her practice. She is focused on bringing holistic client-centred care and modifies each treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients. She has had experience working with headaches, peripheral nervous system conditions, sports injuries, general aches and pains, chronic pain, as well as a variety of orthopaedic and systemic conditions. Daniel Sangwook Han is a licensed acupuncturist who brings a compassionate and holistic approach to healing. His healthcare journey began from seeing his wife benefit greatly from traditional acupuncture after she had a serious illness. Her amazing recovery inspired Daniel to explore and then take the formal training to become an acupuncturist.

Stephanie Katz
Stephanie completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and her Diploma of Massage Therapy at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Having grown up playing various sports, working with the UBC Men’s Rugby team as a student trainer, and witnessing family members navigate chronic pain firsthand, these experiences sparked a deep appreciation for how the body heals, adapts, and returns to movement. This interest naturally grew into a passion for helping others feel and function at their best.
Stephanie brings a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to each session, blending clinical knowledge with a welcoming, patient-centred style. She applies a variety of massage therapy techniques, including Myofascial release, Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations. Brian Kim
Brian completed his Master’s in Physiotherapy at University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia. Prior to becoming a full time Registered Physiotherapist, he worked as a kinesiologist and a personal trainer.
Brian believes in a client focused approach where client’s have an active role in their treatment planning. He uses a combination of manual therapy and individualized exercise programs to help clients reach their goals. He is trained and experienced in Advanced Orthopaedics, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Concussion and Vestibular Therapy, McKenzie, and Neurokinetic Therapy. He is currently pursuing his Diploma in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Having a strong passion for exercise and fitness, Brian has been involved in sports and athletics including golf, basketball, soccer, football, and Olympic lifting. In particular for golf, Brian has obtained his certification with the Titliest Performance Institute which enables him to assess the golf swing, body mechanics and golf related injuries.
Brian is very interested in sharing his knowledge with others. He has been a clinical mentor and small group facilitator at the University of Toronto. Valerie Lang
Valerie completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy degrees at UBC. Before becoming a therapist, she spent 10 years teaching community fitness programs, including swimming lessons, aquatic fitness, aquatic stroke recovery and seniors’ fitness classes.
Valerie is committed to help all clients achieve their health goals by combining her knowledge of manual therapy, exercise, and research. She has taken post-graduate orthopaedic training with Canada’s Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Program. Her athletic background as an artistic swimmer and netball player has shaped her appreciation for physiotherapy and its role in return to sport, recovery and resilience. Kieri holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. With a background as an athlete, she brings a genuine passion for strength and conditioning, performance, and long-term health to her physiotherapy practice.
Her approach to physiotherapy emphasizes education, hands-on treatment, and purposeful strength and mobility work. Kieri is committed to helping clients move with confidence, feel stronger in their bodies, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Hugo Li RMT
Hugo graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2018. His motivation to become a Registered Massage Therapist originated from a desire to help his wife to manage pain and discomfort after being involved in multiple motor vehicle accidents. Hugo wanted to provide care for her so that she was not tied to a strict regimen of pain medications. Hugo continues to believe that the treatment of soft tissues through massage therapy can help decrease musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Hugo has ample experience treating high performing athletes, including former Olympic swimmers for Team Canada, and helping them to achieve their performance goals. He also treats various conditions that are work-related, sports-related, and injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
Hugo strongly believes in listening and understanding the conditions experienced by each patient in order to provide catered care to help treat and address individual needs. Marina Ren
Marina obtained her Master of Physical Therapy from Western University after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Waterloo. In addition to her time at Trinity, Marina also works at Burnaby Hospital, providing care to post-surgical and neurological populations. Having worked with people in all walks of life, Marina understands that healing is unique to each individual and their functional goals. She strongly believes in the ability of the human body to adapt to stresses provided the right stimulus, and hopes to inspire in her clients the same confidence in their bodies’ resilience.

Huda Sajjad
Huda holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She is well-versed in a variety of counselling methods including Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, each proven to assist clients in achieving their health and wellness goals. Her counselling approach focuses on uncovering inner strength and helping to manage past trauma. Mary Stern
Mary completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She has further postgraduate training in IMS (dry needling), Clinical Pilates, Advanced Orthopedics, Pelvic Health and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Mary loves treating clients of all ages, injuries and conditions through manual therapy, dry needling and movement analysis.
